National Framework Development for Local Implementation of SDGs in Higher Education Ecosystems - Phase II
The Challenge
Under the national collaborative initiative 'Development of a Framework for the Local Implementation of the SDGs – Phase II,' the paramount challenge lies in translating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—a global agenda and macro-level policy—into actionable local implementation driven by universities. The key imperative is seamlessly integrating this operational framework into the uniquely complex higher education ecosystem.

SDGs Localization & Co-creation
Co-driving the localization process of global SDG indicators, converting them into an actionable evaluation framework and roadmap for higher education institutions. This was achieved through co-creation with key stakeholders, including executives, faculty members, students, and community representatives.
Actionable Implementation Framework
Co-designed policy-level operational mechanisms that extend beyond academic research, emphasizing the cultivation of a sense of ownership to ensure all university sectors are ready to translate the framework into practice.
National-Level Collaboration
Truly’s executives actively participated in this initiative as key contributors, assessing the university ecosystem through the lens of a 'micro-city.' This evaluation encompassed its infrastructure, personnel management, and role as an academic reference for surrounding communities.

executive involvement & approach
The direct involvement of the executive team drove the formulation of a concrete local implementation framework, establishing a clear and measurable direction for national collaboration in Phase II. The resulting outcome provides higher education institutions with a 'strategic compass' to seamlessly integrate the SDGs into their core strategies—transforming their role into true leaders and regional hubs for local and national sustainability.
